Wait Until Dark is a gripping psychological thriller about Susy, a blind woman who becomes the target of three dangerous criminals searching for something hidden inside her apartment. As their elaborate deception begins to unravel, Susy realizes she must rely on her instincts, intelligence, and knowledge of her surroundings to survive. Tense, suspenseful, and filled with unexpected turns, Wait Until Dark asks what happens when the person who appears most vulnerable takes control of the darkness.
The Great Downtown Holiday Extravaganza- is a free community celebration bringing Louisville together for an afternoon of live performances, local vendors, family activities, holiday fun, and giving back.
At the heart of the event is a Houseless Holiday Outreach Project, where attendees will help assemble care packages for our houseless neighbors throughout Louisville. Guests will be encouraged to donate items including new socks, underwear, T-shirts, gloves, hats, scarves, pre-packaged food, gift cards, and one small non-essential “luxury” item—something included simply to bring a little extra comfort, dignity, or joy.
Together, we’ll celebrate the holidays while turning the spirit of the season into direct community care.
DOGFIGHT
San Francisco, November 1963. It’s the night before three young Marines ship out to Vietnam, and they’re spending their last hours stateside on a cruel game: a “dogfight,” where whoever brings the least attractive date to the party wins the pot.
Eddie Birdlace finds his date in Rose Fenny, a shy, awkward waitress with a guitar and big dreams. But Rose is smarter and tougher than Eddie expected, and when she discovers the bet, the game falls apart. What follows is one unexpected night through the streets of San Francisco that will change them both.
